Harpist, Johanna Keune, was born in southern Germany in 1988 and began playing the harp at age six. She was admitted into the Academy of Music in Stuttgart as a pre-student at age 17, beginning her studies with Prof.Maria Stange.
Johanna recently completed her Bachelor and Master Degree with honors in The Academy of Music and Performing Arts in Karlsruhe. She has participated in master classes with Nancy Allen, Prof.Godlieve Schrama, Miriam Schröder und Fréderique Cambreling.
Johanna performs regularly with The Heidelberg Chamber Orchestra, The Chamber Orchestra of Mannheim and L’arpa festante in Munich. She was the youngest musician to be awarded the Gisela-Kwasny Prize in 2003, and was also a national prize winner in the major German Young Musicians Competion in 2007.
